We're playing TWO shows with Patrick Rothfuss in Portland next week!
Patrick Rothfuss will be in Portland next week as part of his book tour, and we are doing some things with him!! COME SEE US!
- MONDAY Oct 27 | 8:00pm | Mississippi Studios | Tix $10 Online: On MONDAY we will be the musical guests on the local Late-Night-Talk-Show-Style-Event "Late Night Action w/ Alex Falcone!" We will be playing songs, Rothfuss will be a guest, and more things will happen! The show is hosted by two of my favorite comics in Portland, so you know it's gonna be great! (You could win tickets from the Portland Mercury!)
- TUESDAY OCT 28 | 7:30pm | Numark Theater | Tix $28 Online: This is Rothfuss' BIG BOOK EVENT, and he's asked us to kick off the show with some of our songs. His readings are delightful, this is a big theater, and it's going to be fun, not scary. Don't be nervous!
Bonus initiation if you (somehow) don't know who Pat is: Patrick Rothfuss writes a fantasy series called "The Kingkiller Chronicle" and it is amazing and bestselling and you should read it. He has a new book coming out, a novella set in that universe, called "The Slow Regard of Silent Things," and you should read that as well, when you finish his other books. He also has a wonderful voice and a mighty beard.
