New Song! "Unstoppable Force" and wintertime news!
It's Wednesday again and that means we have another completely new song and video for you. This weeks's song is about physics, maybe? Joking! It's about feelings. And it's on Bandcamp, too:And here's the other news...We are hard at work at Doubleclicks HQ making new things! Most of those things are new songs — we've written 6 of them since we last e-mailed you — but we're also putting together some new merch for the holiday season (tshirts! totes! dice! more on that coming real soon!) and we've got shows coming up too in Portland and Seattle! This is a quick update about two things!1. Winter shows! You can now get tickets for our Big Portland Winter concert! — 11/30, $8, 21+. It's going to be a GREAT #NerdNightOut with us, very funny comedian Joseph Scrimshaw & the extremely talented Super Guitar Bros. Pre-sale tickets will help us know how many chairs to rent. We're also playing in Seattle on Monday, December 1 with those same musicians and a few more fun folks. You can nab your tickets for the Dammit Liz Holiday Show now.2. New songs! As you probably noticed by now, we're releasing new songs every Wednesday on YouTube, and we will be for the rest of the year. So far, that's seven songs and videos! We're almost halfway done, but who's counting (we are, it's a lot of work. awesome work, but work.) We've sung about cats, prehistoric lizards, post-apocalyptic turtles, the Internet, Wonder Woman, and cats again... It's fun stuff. As you see above, this week's song is about trains and physics and (spoiler alert) feelings. Last week we dressed up like Star Trek characters and sang about cats. It's all very fun. We've also collected the songs on a playlist on Spotify because the kids tell us that's how people listen to/subscribe to music these days. You can support the project with money (money! It makes food happen!) by buying songs on Bandcamp or iTunes! That's all for now, folks — we do have tour plans in the works and other things (our episode of Tabletop is going to air in the next few months!) For now, big thanks for all your support and we hope your fall is sufficiently full of cats and Netflix.-Angela and Aubrey - "The Doubleclicks"
