Hello good friend, and happy summer! FINALLY!We have a whole bunch of crazy news, so I hope you will at least skim the bold parts of this long long e-mail. We have all kinds of shows coming up for the West Coasties of you this summer, and I hope you will make it to some of them!(If you're in the Northeast or Midwest, you should know that we are coming to see you - This Fall - everywhere from Boston to Indianapolis, Philadelphia, DC, and more. And, this just in, we are bringing MOLLY LEWIS! More details on that will come later the summer, but you can mark your calendars now based on this blog post.)The summer west coast Mostly In Portland shows: June 28, Portland, 6:30 pm: Free show with Small Souls at Alberta Street Pub, 1036 Northeast Alberta Street. We go on early - and then maybe you'll enjoy the Last Thursday art walk?July 7, Portland, 9:00 pm: We'll be opening for indie/folk cat lady Sarah Donner at the Alberta Street Pub. Again, 1036 Northeast Alberta Street - this time $5.July 12, San Diego, California! w00tstock 4.0! Adam Savage, Wil Wheaton, Paul and Storm, and more - and US! I don't think it's sold out *quite* yet. This is during SDCC. Tickets are here!July 21, Portland: WE ARE OPENING FOR AMANDA PALMER. This is a fund-raiser for Literacy Bridge's program to bring their Child & Maternal health program to the village of Saabaalong in Ghana. Tickets (available now!) and more details at Literacy Bridge.July 28, Portland, 7pm: It's the GeekPortland GeekParty! Join us at the East Portland Eagles Lodge for an Amazing night of trivia, music, and revelry. This time: with Seattle's Nerd-rockers Kirby Krackle and more special guests TBA. The last one was amazing - and, from what I have heard of the planning, this one is going to somehow be even better. Eagle's Lodge, 4904 SE Hawthorne Blvd.August 19, Portland, 6pm: Molly Lewis & The Doubleclicks - outside in the courtyard at Bridge City Comics! Molly Lewis, of w00tstock, YouTube, and ukulele fame, is joining us in Portland to entertain and delight you. We'll pass the hat for a $5 donation. 3725 North Mississippi Ave.Coming soon...Later in the year, you will find us poking around at GeekGirlCon (Seattle, August 11-12, Buy passes now!), PAX, and Rose City Comic-con (Portland, September 8-9).
